North Wales LeagueAt the recent AGM, it was agreed to review the League's operation so that it can provide both meaningful competitive hockey as well as meet the development needs of the region. As such, please read the following letter and proposals. Please could all clubs consider these as a matter of urgency and feed back comments to me by 30 September. We will then hold a Special General MEeting in November to discuss the issues. Welsh Squad Coaching DayThe Men's Welsh Squad are holding a coaching day at Glyndwr University on Sunday, 12th July 2009 for all junior hockey players. This is an excellent opportunity for the region's young players to learn from our elite athletes. Download the invitation letter here. New RulesAs you may know, there are new rules in force from next season - one of which is the "self-pass". A good start in what is another advance in hockey's rules can be found on YouTube. WHU AGMThe WHU AGM will be held at the Maldwyn Leisure Centre, Newtown on Sunday, 5th July 2009 starting at 14:00. Please could ALL clubs send TWO representatives to this meeting as it has been a struggle getting the AGM this far north. The papers are below: Euro Nations Wrexham 09Planning for the Euro Nations is continuing apace. More information will be sent to clubs in due course to tell them how they and us all can help make this event a real success for North Wales.
