I hope you have looked through the North Wales Hockey website which has been created by Jon Upton for the North Wales Men. On discussion it was felt that the North Wales Women needed to have some information put onto the World Wide Webb and Jon very kindly offered to put information onto this website.
The North Wales Women’s Association has been organising hockey activities for many years. The main ones are Junior competitions and act as vehicle for the North Wales Women’s League. This is run separately by clubs on a two year cycle. There is a link to the North Wales League handbook for further information, fixtures etc. This year the league is now on fixture live as well as the North Wales League Cup competition.
The other main activity is U16 and U18 Squads where the local players are selected and play in a tournament against the two South Wales Squads at U16 and U18.
Other activities are to organise the Schools Competitions for the WHU on a yearly basis.
It is hoped that this Website will keep you informed of activities especially coaching and umpiring

Clubs are encouraged now to participate in U11 and U13 7-a-side competitions organised by North Wales Men. Please contact Adrian Bennett
adrian@broadwater-training.com boys teams, girls teams and mixed can participate. Under 11 should mean those aged 9,10 and 11 to ensure they can cope with demands of 20 minute games.
